Mission Team NewsCelebrate the Call to Caring and Sharing!
The weekend of SEPT. 10,11,12 the East Akron Cluster will be sharing in fellowship and outreach by offering a wide array of activities that should provide something of interest for everyone. Among the planned events are hands-on fix-up, clean-up projects; mealtime fellowship; sharing success stories about how each of the cluster churches add their unique touches to mission outreach; special youth events, as well as a battle of the bands.
Our church will participate by hosting a pot-luck dinner Friday evening and by sending a work crew to the Saturday project in the South Arlington area. This weekend offers a chance to take a peek into the workings of the cluster churches, as well as gain deeper insight and appreciation for local, national, and international mission work.

Campbell’s Labels
There have been big changes to the Campbell’s Labels for Education program. Campbell’s no longer accepts the front panel of the soup can labels. The part of the label that can be redeemed is the UPC section, along with the Labels for Education symbol. If you find that the UPC code is glued down, Campbell’s will accept it if you’ve managed to preserve one half of the barcode. Please go to www.labelsforeducation.com for complete details.
